Australian Visa Application Charges Increased from 1 July 2026
The Australian Government has increased base Visa Application Charges across nearly all visa categories, effective from 1 July 2026.
The increases affect international students, skilled workers, partners, temporary graduates and other prospective migrants. Applicants planning to lodge a visa application should review the new charges and include the higher government fees in their financial planning.

application charge for the primary applicant. Additional fees may apply
for partners, dependent children, health examinations, police
certificates, biometrics, translations and other application-related
